1/21 - Hey, were all workin really hard to get ready for our show with the toasters and big d next month. The show is just a few weeks away and were all very excited. We have a new song were putting the finishing touches on to play at the show. Next monday plan 17 will be on 89.9 to promote the show and we will also be on the BSC radio staion as well (more info soon). We have our photo shoot next sat and we are also touring the recording studio while were in boston. Thats about all thats goin on for now so see you in Feb!
1/10 - OH Boy!!! This is the first up date in the year 2003, im excited. First off i would like to thank everyone who came out and supported us in East Bridgewater the other night. We made alot of money and alot of new fans. We're playing the Gallary Cafe again next wendsday so if you missed volume 1 make sure u get out to next weeks show. Some big new we got yesterday was from Stu the old owner of the Pond. Last time we hung out with Stu was at a Jaya show when he was telling us how he booked the Toasters. Well Stu came through for us and booked us in Providence with the Toasters and Big D! All this show info can be found else where on the site. As for recording, we will be making a demo in February at Moon Tower Studios. We will aslo be taking some new promo pictures for our press kit as well. Thats it for now and i hope to see you all at the shows!
12/24 - Whats up all?? 10 mins till christmas and im finally updating the site. Sorry they have been slow but i've had finals and christmas and not enough time to get on my lap top. We have moved the show that was 12/27 at the chopping block to 1/4. We are also planning on recording some time in early february. Geoff from Jaya the Cat is going to be doing guest vocals on our demo. About the Catch22 show...Pictures will be up with in the next few weeks when i find a friend with a workin scanner, and the summary is posted on the shows page. 12/4 - Whats up all?? The only thing that i have to say is that were sooo excited for the show next wendsday. Were practicing this thurs, fri, sat, and monday. I hope to see everyone at the catch 22 show at BSC next wendsday!!! We'll have some new merch too.
11/21 - Whats this Plan 17 has some shows! Holly shit! We're playing at the Chopping Block in Boston MA December 27th right after Christmas! Sorry to all the kids though its 21+ you better ask santa for a fake id. In other news we have new t-shirts for 10 bucks you can check them out on the merch page. Hopefuly we will set up some more all ages shows by the end of the year. We're also thinking of working on an accoustic set so we can play at small bars, pubs, and coffee shops. Well thats it for now.
11/15 - Hey whats up kids? Plan 17 is taking a little break from shows right now to work on new material and the current set list. We are working with a new manager Rick. We will hopefuly have shows for the christmas season. We are also recording a demo christmas break. Well thats all for now check back for updates.
10/15 - Hey, We are not playing the Palladium Battle of the bands any more. If you bought a ticket off us we will refund your money if you email us or come to see us. Here's the story... We were all packed in Jays Rav driving down to the palladium yesterday. When we reached the band meeting we took our place in line. Moose sat up on something and a girl (who looked like a guy) told him to get down. Moose said no cause he though she was goofing around. She left and 2 mins later a bouncer came over and asked him if the girl had told him to get down and moose said that it was a guy. The girl had short spiked hair, guy shoes, guy jeans, and a big sweatshirt. The next thing you know moose and dan were in the office of the palladium and we were kicked off the show for offending the girl. Dan and Jay went back in to talk to the people. The two came storming out of the office and jay was among the hated now too. Moose and Dan went back one more time but it didnt work we were kicked off for good. Moose came out of the building very pissed off and he punch the wall of the palladium. The bouncer came running out grabbed moose by the neck shoved him against a tree and told him he was gonna fuckin kill him. He would have kicked his ass but the lady came running out and told him not to. They called us all punk ass kids...she didnt even know us. She said they were 2 sec's away from calling the cops so we took off. Moose was soo pissed off he didnt even wana get in the car so we were chilling by the rav once again. All of a sudden "put your hands up where i can see them." The cops had us up against the wall and the car for 20 mins while the decided weather or not to arrest us. All this for making a simple mistake. They did let us leave but we are not allowed to play the palladium or even be in that part of Worcester again.
10/7 -Hey, last weekends show went great thanks to everyone who came out to suport us! Right now we are getting ready for the palladium show on the 19th. We have a 20-25 min set that day. If you haven't purchased a ticket yet u must buy one by next sunday so contact joshmk@excite.com or 781-724-0829. Kendra's party is this week so to everyone who's goin to that we'll see you there. Last but not least we're working on a new demo and hope to have it recorded soon. Maybe we'll record enough to make a short ep.
9/23 -Hey whats up, we have another show and this one only 4 bucks! Its a show for our good friend Joe Richner who is going into the army in 2 weeks. Joe is in the band Reserve along with the one and only Jake Doyle. Were playing a show at priority music in hanson Friday Oct. 4th to say good buy to Joe. Everyone should come and check it out. For Kendra's party on the 11th were playing with Skankin' Scotts new emo band and Chasing Tomorrow. If you know Kendra make sure you show up at the Whitman VFW for her B-Day. The Show at the Palladium is Oct. 19th, we dont know when were goin on but it should be around 8. We need to sell as many tickets as possible to win stuff ect. 9/13 -Hey whats up, we're working real hard on writting new material and thining out our old set list. We set up a couple of shows in October one will be a battle of the bands at the Palladium. We are hoping to get some time in the fork in hand studio very soon to record some tracks for a demo as well. And last but not least we are once again looking into expanding our horn section so if anyone is interested contact us.
7/13 - We just finished up some great shows and now we are on a little break but dont u worry cause were gonna come back with more songs that are better than ever. See u in September! and look out for some new pictures on the page.
6/6 - Hey sorry about not updating but with all my graduations shit and such i havent had much time on my hands. First off we played a great show in Attleboro last week for 6 people. I am also working on an mp3.com webpage. Im putting up all the tracks that were recorded and never used along with rare live recordings. We have decided to give up our dreams for we rock we roll were out of control. We dont think the tracks came up to par with our new standards. We did use some of the tracks on a split we did with local rap super stars Handsome B Wonderful. We are planning on returning to the studio some time in the summer to record a new demo and try to get label support. Our plans for shows are as follows, were gonna keep doin local stuff and also some stupid club gigs to make money. Our main goal is to have enough money to do a small tour next summer. Well thats about all the new i can think of right now so until next time my homies.

5/7 - Hey whats new, nothing well there is alot of new things happening in plan 17 land. We are setting up mad shows, not alot of them have much info yet but we hope they will all happen. Thanks for everyone who came out to see us last friday and sunday. The live cd is being mixed down this friday night and we will have cds ready for monday of next week. They cds will only 5 dollars but the number of songs is undecided as of now. I will be adding more pictures as soon as i get some time to put them up, James took some great ones last week. In recording news, we plan on making a new 2 song demo this summer at a nice studio and really take our time so we have something solid to send to labels. We really want to get our album out there and right now we dont know what is going on with that were really working on playing shows the most right now. Also over the last 2 weeks of practice we have been hard at work writting songs, we have 3 new kick ass skank up a storm tunes that everyone will love. Thats about all the news for now and see u at the next show.
4/29 - Hey guys thanks to everyone who went to the hanover mall and to everyone who got kicked out of the hanover mall last friday. Heres the story when we got there all ready to set up we see the same sign everone else did "show cancled" we didnt even get a phone call. They had the hanover police there and said we couldnt play. they said "ska is not like reggae ska is thrash music and we cant have that in the hanover mall" the guy at beanzees did not inform the power tripped mall security about the show so when people started to show up the sec. guards got all excited about there work and prob all got erections. Well seeing that over 30 people showed up 45 mins early is a good thing for us but we are still very disapointed. Half the bands familys missed a chanced to see us out side of a "punk show" and even our teachers went to find that we couldnt play. The booking guy at beanzees says he still wants to do it but were not counting on anything. So in a nut shell a big sorry to everyone made the trip to hanover and just ended up hanging out in the shitty ass video arcade.

4/8 -Hey whats up everyone, thanks to all that came out to the show on sunday it was alot of fun. More than half of the crowd was up on stage for bombshell that was great. We have this thing in the bag, one of the bands was trying to make a bribe w/ luke because they didnt thing they could beat us. Well if you have quick time i put the prioirty video on the site. And make sure you go and vote a bunch of times for us @ www.prioritymusiccomplex.com which should be up tomorrow. We are going to the studio thursday to mix down the audio and video and we hope to come out with a dvd as well as a live cd. We should be playing a show @ Jarrods Place w/ Jaya and 12 Cent May 30th if all works out well i just talked to the guy. The Mall show is April 26th and the show should start around 7 i think. Were haveing a big "party" show in chris's back yard next wendsday 4/17 around 5, he lives of Franklin st. in hanson so come on down! thats about it for now.
4/5 - Hey long time no updates huh, well thats because there has been nothing to say. First off Matty is outty for now he might come back in the summer but as of now he is no longer part of plan 17. We're playing the battle of the bands this sunday to win, we get 500 bucks if we do! Were working on setting up some shows for the summer but were not counting on ne thing right now because the south shore scene sucks but we'll try to get ass many shows near home as we can. The mall show is a reality now too, its set for april 26th. The life recording of the show on sunday might be added to "we rock, we roll, were out of control" or it might be a seperate ep. We will prob end up selling them for around 5 bucks no matter what happens. Our album is being put to rest even though we have it all recorded and mastered we dont know what to do because were broke. We're sending out demos soon though so hopefuly by summer! And on a last note 3 members of plan 17 had a run in w/ the cops at different times over the last 2 months from asault w/ a deadly weapon to driving under the influence but no one is in jail...yet. 1/31 - Hey whats goin on? We Rock, We Roll, We're out of Control is DONE!!! You can get mp3's on the main page and on the sounds page. The show march 8th is being rescheduled for either an earlier or later date but it will be in march. Thats about it for now.
1/21 - Hey boys and girls out there in plan 17 land. The big news of the week is that there is a new member of the plan17 family, her name is kim and she plays the sax. Kims from hanover and is a fast learner so she will be playing with us at our next show. We are working on 2 new songs i dont know if we'll have them done in time for the show in march but you can look forward to them in the future. These two songs are the first songs that the horns have worked on as well so the style is a little different but still plan 17. The other big news of the week is that our cd release is set. Friday, March 8th at the hanover mall we will be playing at beanzies down by cvs. We're goin on at 730 so get there early! There is no cover charge leaving you plenty of money left over to buy our new album. You can find out more about this in the Disco sec. 1/10 - Hey whats up all you boys and girls. Sorry for not updating the site in ages, but ive been very busy. New Years eve we put the finishing touches on 10 songs on the album. We are going back into the studio for 4 more hours and we will be done! New Years eve was a party and a half, we went into boston with all of our friends and drank in an alley it was very ghetto but hey it was fun. One of the memorable parts of the night was when dan screamed "hey will u buy us some vodka" to some woman in china town. As for the rest of the night i dont remember most of it lol. I never did tell u about the show, but im gonna put a review section on the shows page so u can go and check that out. We also have new pictures on the site so check them out too. 12/01 - Whats up all...If your not on the email list you have been missin out on all the plan 17 news. I figured id update the site to keep u up to date. Jaya the Cat is playing the show on the 23rd! if you havent heard them yet you should really check them out. In other news adam is a member of the past, he just wasnt what we were looking for. Were looking into a sax player from EB so hopefuly we get him, he's in another shitty band so maybe he'll leave it for us. Skankin' Scott is in a new band w/ the guitarist of FHA and very close plan17 friend brian weckbacher. Scotty is playin the drums in the band they call "the Lowlifes." we wish them good luck. Were recording the 12th and will have a new demo very soon after that date, just to hold u over to "We Rock...We Roll...We're out of Control" and yes that is the name of the album. If you go to EB high school you might want to go to the lock in this year seeing that were gonna be jamming, we get paid in FREE FOOD! And on a final note our new practice room KICKS ASS and i cant wait to break it in next Sat with some "Spirits" Well talk to u all in the future.
11/13 - Lots of stuff to talk about...First off, we hope to see everyone out Dec. 23, in Natick at our first show. Next we have a new member of the plan 17 family, his name is adam and he plays the trumpet. He has been playing with us for about 3 weeks now and really completes the horn section (at least until we find a tuba player). We have decided to practice 2 days a week so we can "take it to the next level" as Jay says. Merch. is being made as u read this news, we will have patches and stickers for the show, maybe pins but im not sure yet. We are also planning on making a shit load of demo's that we will be selling for 2 bucks i know they were free but we need your money so we can put out a killer album. On the topic of the cd we were in the studio this weekend laying down more tracks doing over songs and we have final guitar bass drums and vocals on 12 songs. The name as of now of the album is "skankin' your worries away" but seeing that we change that every week i wouldnt say its anything final just yet. We hope to have a total of 15 songs and get it out by the new year. Recording was a blast, but the party afterwards was sweet. Moose boxed Brian Weckbacher in the mean streets of hanson, and dan also boxed Brian Loring. Some of our friends have this "fight club" and they box its very cool. but the better half of the night came when me and my cousin scored some beer this guy had in his trunk seeing that u cant buy on sundays...yet lol! well lets just say we came very close to being kicked out of the room. Well thats all for now folks look for more updates next week.
11/1 - Ok lots of changes have been goin on in the world what is know as Plan17ville. We took down a wall at priority and made one massive practice room. But most of the changes are about the album. We Rock, We Roll, Were out of Control will not be the name of the album it will now be called Skippin' School. Were adding a new song to it that we just wrote it doesnt have words yet but it will soon and we are also adding a reggae song. We are re-recording all the songs that were on the demo, and we are redoing some of the stuff we have down now as well to get the best damn cd we can make. This cost way to much money for us but what the hell! We are working on an operation ivy cover for our shows, its a surprise...that is blond...dur u better know what it is. And last but not least Chris has hit puberty so everyone be happy for him.

10/3 - Were in the middle of recording our new album, all i can tell u is that it kicks ass so far. We have 2 new members of the band jay and matt, they both play the trombone. This add's to our songs and only makes the whole band alot better. Were working on updateing the site, and there are shows in the near future so u can look forward to that.
8/15 - Hey whats up its been about a month now and we've been workin on new songs to get this album rolling. We are setting up 2 more days in the studio and hopefuly were finish everything up this time (were goin for 14 songs). Shows are on the way nothing locked in yet but close. Thats all for now so keep on skankin!
7/11 - Hey what the fuck its 7-11 sweet deal. anyways lots of stuff has happen in the past couple of weeks. First off crappapalooza was canceled until further notice, that sucks. Were workin on some shows as I type. Second our demo came out kick ass thats all i can say. We went into the studio only to find that the guy who recorded the darkbuster cd was the new studio guy. Joe was a real cool shit and him and luke joked around with us all night long. most of the songs were only 1 or 2 takes and we gave up on cal after recording that a few times. moose forgot the lyrics to astro pizza so me and chris went to chris's house and print them out, drove back to the studio doing 80 in an 25 only to find that we printed out the wrong lyrics...dont worry moose did remember them. Dan and his girlfriend went out to her car for about a half an hour in the parking lot that has cameras all over it. and they left me a prize on my car if u cant figure out what it was dont strain yourself dan that little fuck i should have never given him the combo to my car. Well after all that were workin on making as many cds as we can you can buy them at priority and through us and soon at some record stores. Yesterday we decided to practice outside because it was hot everything was goin fine for a half an hour when we got shut down by the cops, fuckin gay neighbors. its ok though because the hanson police stayed to listen to us play lazy. Then later that day the whole band and a few more people were smokin cigars at burger king in whitman while we were waitin for our food, we were outside on the grass. the cops came over and thought we were smokin pot, but thats ok because Julee was a wise ass and talked back to him....well thats all the news i have for now jesus christ that was alot.
6/24 - This is kinda weird the last news i put in was about recording, well we never did but this time we really are. We recording July 1st. The songs we are going to do are Skankin' Scott, Astro Pizza, Lazy, Almo is White Trash, and if we have time Bus Driver Cal. These tracks are for our full length that we want to have by the end of the summer. We are doing a rough mix on them though so we can put them out as a demo, we will be selling them for 3 bux each. In other news Crapapalooza has been changed to July so check that out in the Shows section. And last but not least here is a demo of some cd are we have been workin on.
4/16 - Hey whats up? First off we were shafted this weekend because our recording session was cancled and so was the show. We are recordin this wendsday now. Were doin 8 songs and then 4 or 5 another time. You can get all the info on the new cd here. Everyone needs to go to our show this friday its gonna be a good time. Thats about it for now the only other thing is that new pictures are on the way this week.
4/06 - Shows updated
3/25 - Hey big news, were gonna be on the eastonpunk reocords comp "This is Massachusetts not MTV." That means were goin into the studio soon to record some tracks, were not sure yet what songs were gonna record. We dont wana make a demo either we want good solid recordings that we can add to our album "astro pizza" that were hoping to have done by the end of May. Were not yet sure where to record it or how many songs were gonna do so when i figure out what were doing i put up some more news but for now thats it. 3/20 - We have stopped our search for horns because all the horn players we have heard suck. Were just gonna do that punk ska thing for a while but we still might pick up a horn player later. The shows page is all messed up right now but we have like 5 new shows that r gonna be up in the next week. Skanking Scott has become or 2nd lead vocals and thats all i have to say for right now....
3/7 - 3 days without school has left us with alot of snow and alot of practice time. We were going to stop writing new songs for now and work on a solid set but the ideas keep coming. Our new song is about bus driver Cal some of u might know him. There have been alot of horn players showing up to play with us these last few weeks. I think we have one solid horn player Julie, we just wana practice with her a few more times before we let her in the band. We also have 2 begining horn players who want to be in the band, all i can say about them is that its gonna take them a long time to be good enough to play with us. Dan has been workin on his now 10 peice drum kit, and he's still going. Thats all the news for now so be here next time same time same channel.

2/6 - Hey whats up? first off i just set up the pictures page and put 20 new pics of us from practice. Second, we practiced today for 5 hours and at the end we came out with 2 new songs, astro pizza and lazy. Josh wrote the music to both, dan wrote they lyrics to astro pizza, and moose wrote the lyrics to lazy. The name of our first album is going to be called astro pizza, which we will be recording this spring. Were workin on shows in march because as of now we have about a 20 min set we can do and hopefuly by then we can pull off like 30 to 40 mins. 2/2 - I fixed some stuff on the sounds and added the lyrics page, check it out.
2/1- Hey i just sent out the new plan 17 email news letters. I also put up the sounds page, we should have an iuma page but i dont know whats up with that. We have a new songs called astro pizza that is really funny and it sounds awesome, its a little irish. Thats about it for now i guess.
1/27- Hey we have been working on all of our songs, and we recorded 5 on our 4-track. So you can now check us out on our sounds page, if i doesnt work now then try later because it is still processing. Well thats just about all I have to say for now.
1/19- We have been in our new practice room almost every day now, we have been fuckin around most of the time though. Last Saturday we practiced with FHA and some of our friends, we had a great time. We have lots and lots of songs now, the covers are op ivy- yellin in my ear, and knowledge, and we also play should I stay or should I go by the clash. Some of our own songs are Skankin' Scott, Mr. Belvedere, Johnny Danger, and I wish I had a friend named Sal. We are workin on making a demo version of Skankin Scott on our 4-track at practice so we can put it up on the internet. We will be recording some time in February for our 7" split with FHA. It is going to be out in March on green vinyl and I think we might make CD's. Well thats it for now, until next time...

1/6- Hey seeing that no one knows about this site I can write anything I want. I could say things like dans sux large cock, but i wont. Anyway, we just put the finishing touches on skankin scott, and we worked all last practice on our version of should i stay or should i go by the clash. Next tuesday we will be moving into our new practice room at priority stuidos. 2 horn players are coming in next practice so hopefuly they will wana be in the band. 12/17- We had our first practice last tuesday, we did not have any drums so it was rough. Our frist plan was to have chris play guitar and josh play bass but we ended up swiching. Chris only can play power chords on the guitar and josh can play power chords and bar chords so...they're both bass players. We wrote our first song skankin' Scott. We are planning on covering Operation Ivy's Yelling in my Ear next practice. We also need to put drums to Skankin' Scott. We are looking for horn players right now so if you are intrested, we practice every tuesday. Give us an email.
